Here is your writing introduction for the week! I hope you have fun writing these letters.
Sounds like a good plan, hey? You can write your letter by hand, or type it out on the computer. If it is possible, I would prefer that you type it out, as I am going to email all of these letters to Mr. Despins and Miss Shigemi once they are done! But if that isn't an option - not to worry! Just send a picture of your handwritten letter, and I will make sure they get that too.
In your letter, I'd like you to write three paragraphs organized like the following:
Dear Miss Shigemi/Mr. Despins, Paragraph 1 - This paragraph will be to thank them for all that they did in the classroom. Here are some ideas for sentence starters: - Thank you for... - You were helpful to me when... - I appreciate when you... - My favourite thing you did when you were here was... - I wish you could have been with us longer to... (There are many other sentences that you can use!) Paragraph 2 - This paragraph will be to tell them why you think they will be a good teacher. Give them compliments! - You will be an awesome teacher because... - I would love to be a future student of yours because... (Take your time to think of all of the best things about them. Elaborate your thoughts!) Paragraph 3 - This paragraph will be to give them advice on how to be a super teacher in the future! - Here is some advice for when you are a teacher. - When you are a teacher, you SHOULD ... - When you are a teacher, you SHOULD NOT... (Put your own sense of humour into these pieces of advice!) Sincerely, your name |
Remember, you need to write TWO letters. One for each of our student teachers.
Please have this handed in to me by Friday at noon.
