Hey everyone! As April is wrapping up and we are heading into May, I thought that for reading this week, we would read three articles about things that are going on in the world that aren't related to COVID-19 for a change!
There are three sections for you to read, along with some questions that go with each section. I also have some extra optional activities that you can do on the last tab.
Below is a link that you can copy and paste to get the whole booklet in a digital book format. I had a message say that the website was not secure, but there was an option to continue anyways. I especially like the link, because there are some great videos embedded that go with each article. Don't worry if it doesn't work to open though - All of the same content is posted in each of the tabs!

Of course, things are changing so fast now, so we know that the Olympics are postponed by a year. We hope she trains tons and wins many medals in 2021! Tornadoes are terrifying, but at the same time fascinating! It is coming up to tornado season in many parts of the world. This article talks more about tornadoes, and how they are formed.
