Sadako's home country Japan is a rich and vibrant country that has many customs and practices that are very different than here in Canada. Your job this week is going to be to research this amazing country and report on your findings. You can present your research in a variety of ways. You choose what works best for you. Some ideas could be:
- Powerpoint
- Poster
- Word document with written paragraphs
- Any other method of your choice!
Look to the next page for an outline of the information that you will need to research. Below are a few websites with good information to get you started:

In your research project, I want you to have a section for each of the following. You can organize your slides, paragraphs, or sections of your poster this way. If you would like, you can use the organizer linked below to write down the facts that you find while researching. I hope you have fun learning about this very interesting country!

- The location (which continent does it belong to?)

Here I am feeding a very friendly deer in Nara. These deer bow to you if you bow to them!
Maybe the most dangerous restaurant experience I've ever had. I am lucky I still have eyebrows......
